Nadel (formally Jack Nadel International) is one of the leading distributors of branded merchandise in the United States. They are based in Los Angeles, California. THE RESULT Upon receipt, every coach called to say thank you and express how much they appreciated the gift. The original order was repeated a month later for a second opportunity within the Pac-12 organization.

THE CLIENT

Nadel’s client Pac-12 is a collegiate athletic conference that participates in 24 sports in Western United States at the NCAA Division I level.

THE OBJECTIVE

Create a stand-out thank you gift for the championship coaches of the Pac-12 conference.

THE PITCH

Laird Eickmeyer, Vice President of Nadel, felt that a quality speaker in upscale packaging would be the perfect gift to commemorate and underline the significance of the championships. PowerStick’s creative team mocked-up the Luna Bluetooth speaker in SILKEN custom packaging. Sporty stripes and metallic foil logo were added to the box sleeve to make a powerful first impression.

In the end, it wasn’t the speaker’s specs that won the order, it was the look and feel of the package as a whole. SILKEN packaging helped turn a product into a memorable gift experience.
